I had the pleasure of working with Aylen doing the mixdown and mastering of his latest release, entitled “The Remixtape”. It’s a compilation of some of his remixes in various styles, the most prominent of which is bass-heavy electro house (we called it complextro). After another year’s work with my man Zak Downtown, we’ve got a great mixtape to show for it. It’s not long, but it consists of ten carefully thought out songs (of which I produced five) that range from oldschool hip-hop (Bad Man’s World / Gift or a Curse) to a more modern dubstep-pop hybrid (One For The Books). Also, our friend Phil Wong did an amazing job on the artwork! I recorded and mixed it all at the Moodswing 360 studio, and it features production from J Fizz, TGIK, Hollagrafik, Astro Raw, and David Lange. Download this project, you won’t be dissapointed!
